About the role

  • Intern in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Scientist at Geosyntec, applying academic knowledge to real-world situations in environmental consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Researching, collecting, organizing, and summarizing historic environmental documents
  • Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
  • Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
  • Follow instructions and interact with engineers, scientists, geologists, office administrative staff, contractors and construction personnel
  • Assist with environmental due diligence (Phase I/II ESAs)
  • Potential for fieldwork such as site visits, soil and groundwater sampling, stormwater inspections, and drilling and contractor oversight

Requirements

  • Currently registered in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree program in a relevant science or engineering discipline
  • Degree focus area in geology, environmental science, environmental or water resources engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
