- Workover Engineer at BP providing technical services in Mumbai, India. Focusing on planning and delivering workover operations safely and efficiently while managing engineering support.
Responsibilities
- Support BP as Technical service provider for partners in successfully planning and delivering workover jobs
- Strive to deliver scope safely within the targeted time and budget
- Provide engineering support during operations
- Identify technologies and best practices for abandonment and well reinstatement
- Manage well integrity risks and ensure compliance with functional processes & policies
- Prepare workover plans and work instructions
- Monitor daily costs during execution and prepare well cost estimates
- Manage the contractor relationship and safety implementation of Contractor Improvement Plans.
Requirements
- University degree in Science / Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Minimum of 8+ years of domestic and/or international experience as a well engineer with workover field and planning experience
- Workover engineering experience in planning and executing offshore wells
- Experience in casing/tubing and packer recovery
- Experience in designing milling BHA and milling operations
- Well Control Accreditation at a Supervisory level for example (IADC, IWCF or equivalent)
- Proficient with EDM landmark applications (WellPlan)
- Proficient with Drilling Fluids and Cement design.
