Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies for the US industrial solutions market, targeting data centers, power generation, and emerging sectors.
Identify, pursue, and secure new market opportunities, partnerships, and diverse customer segments to drive revenue growth.
Expand BorgWarner’s presence in new and existing markets, with a focus on increasing customer diversity and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and product development.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
Monitor and report on sales performance, KPIs, and new business metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred), Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in business development and sales within the industrial sector, specifically power generation and/or data centers.
Proven track record of market expansion, customer diversity initiatives, and strategic sales leadership.
Strong understanding of financial metrics as they relate to program and business performance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Ability to travel 50% or more, including regular visits to customer sites and industry events.
