Open Banking Operations Analyst driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance at BOQ Group. Supporting CDR capabilities across all brands and engaging with financial regulators.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery, uplift and ongoing compliance of our Consumer Data Right (CDR) capabilities across all BOQ Group brands.
Drive operational excellence through process optimisation and targeted improvements across the Open Banking ecosystem.
Strengthen BOQ’s regulatory compliance posture while enhancing the efficiency, clarity and scalability of our operating model.
Conduct proactive reviews, resolve discrepancies, and lead initiatives that uplift processes, controls and documentation.
Support high-impact technical deliveries and ensure new initiatives align with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Take ownership of end-to-end process reviews, identify gaps and deliver improved solutions and policies.
Manage in-flight incidents and contribute to regular compliance and performance reporting.
Engage with regulators and the broader financial industry to guide the strategic landscape for CDR.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience navigating regulated environments and driving meaningful operational uplift.
Experience in Open Banking or the Consumer Data Right is highly regarded.
Exposure to emerging technologies such as Agentic AI to enhance operational efficiency.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or a related discipline.
Strong foundation in product, process or operational roles within Financial Services.
Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence, both in writing and verbally.
Experience in identifying gaps, weaknesses and improvement opportunities within existing processes and policies.
Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own priorities.
Analytically minded, able to break down problem statements and propose practical solutions.
Experienced in managing stakeholders across compliance, legal, technology and external vendor groups.
Proven track record of leading and delivering small-to-medium initiatives, particularly those centered on process optimisation or change management.
