Responsibilities
- Manages employees, mid/first-level managers and Integrated Product Team Leads performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
- Manages stakeholder relationships across multiple Boeing business units, external suppliers and domestic / international customers.
- Develops and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures across all areas of Acoustic Programs.
- Provides input on program level business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Directs development and supports communication of Acoustic Programs Long Range Business Plan, research and development and new business activities.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes across Acoustic Programs project portfolio.
- Maintains, tailors and improves Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) focused on program goals.
- Oversees and is accountable regarding quality and safety of the products and facility.
- Supports management of staffing and day-to-day logistics for Acoustic Programs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience within project leadership including planning, implementing and executing program plans
- 5+ years of experience in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role
- Understanding and experience with Program Management Best Practices
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience directly interfacing with customers
