About the role
- Transportation Analyst optimizing logistics and transportation across Boeing's business units. Executing shipments, analyzing carrier performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Daily shipment execution of mission critical parts for all programs using all modes of transportation and balancing costs with schedule.
- Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost-effective transportation services.
- Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.
- Participates on enterprise wide and cross-functional teams defining export control programs.
- Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.
- Designs transportation plans and solutions.
- Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
- 4+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
- 4+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment
- 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- 4+ years of experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- 4+ years of experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills
