About the role
- Lead development and implementation of Boeing's U.S. sustainability strategy and support regional customer sustainability efforts. Collaborate with various teams to advance sustainability initiatives and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a unified U.S. sustainability strategy for Boeing
- Support the monitoring and analysis of sustainability policy developments at both the state and federal levels
- Represent Boeing on several coalitions and sustainability working teams
- Own the sustainability relationships to critical US commercial airline customers
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and NGOs
- Partner with SAF procurement team and Sustainable Aviation Technology (SAT) team on partnerships and R&D efforts
- Develop strategic marketing and messaging efforts to promote sustainability initiatives
- Identify and evaluate emerging sustainability business risks and opportunities within United States
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to research and benchmark sustainability trends
- Coordinate and support cross-functional sustainability objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in environmental studies, public policy, business development, or sustainability
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
