Responsibilities

  • Serve as the agency’s lead budget and fiscal expert
  • Guide the full budget lifecycle from development and validation to execution and ongoing monitoring
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the budget
  • Deliver advanced fiscal analysis informing strategic planning
  • Assess financial trends and translate complex data into recommendations
  • Safeguard the agency’s fiscal health

Requirements

  • Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for three years of experience
  • A graduate degree in related fields may substitute for four of the six years of experience
  • Advanced Analytical and Fiscal Modeling Skills
  • Advanced Excel Expertise with pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Exceptional Documentation and Organizational Skills
  • Collaborative and Customer-Service-Oriented Approach
  • Experience with State or Comparable Financial Systems
