About the role

  • Senior Product Manager at BeyondTrust driving product strategy in identity security SaaS solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing the full product lifecycle to deliver innovative capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and execute the product roadmap.
  • Hands-on, prioritize and define features related to visibility, permission management, getting to least privileges, compliance automation and identity governance. Define context strategy for our models.
  • Drive the full product lifecycle, from concept and discovery through execution, launch, and performance measurement.
  • Champion user needs through AI‑powered insights, research, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Translate customer needs, market signals, and business goals into clear roadmap items and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design the product with security best practices.
  • Work with the broader product management team to maintain both short-term and long-term roadmap in an agile fashion and to craft user stories within product backlog.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform the product roadmap.
  • Lead the transition from deterministic software logic to probabilistic product experiences, balancing creativity with security and reliability.
  • Champion a jobs-to-be-done and user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that our solutions are serving unmet needs of the various personas and AI agents.
  • Define and field primary market research - including win/loss research, client & market surveys, customer advisory boards, and meeting with customers and prospects - to aid in defining the product direction.
  • Perform assessment of target markets, industry trends, competitors and competitive products against BeyondTrust products.
  • Obtain input and validation for new enhancements from customer-facing internal partners: sales, solution engineers, marketing, customer support, engineering.
  • Review and prioritize backlog of proposed product enhancements and select what will comprise the coming sprints.
  • Support pre-sales engagements with complex or unique customer installation questions in a timely, efficient and professional manner, and support sales enablement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of proven product management experience in identity management or security SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with LLM prototyping and prompt engineering.
  • Fluency in the modern AI stack, demonstrable experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features.
  • Have a technical background in Identity Security, Identity Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Identity Threat Detection and Response, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security Management, Cloud Infrastructure Entitlements Management, or related discipline.
  • Relevant military experience is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with public cloud computing, e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
