About the role

  • HR Manager building HR processes from scratch and managing operations for a passionate team in a high-energy environment in Malta.

Responsibilities

  • Own the A-to-Z employee experience, from delivering a stellar onboarding and managing performance reviews
  • draft contracts, maintain pristine records, and partner with payroll
  • Write HR policies from scratch
  • Serve as the ultimate sounding board for all employee matters
  • manage office supplies, vendors, set up tech for new hires, and distribute company swag
  • Plan milestone celebrations, internal events, and gatherings
  • oversee risk assessments, essential safety training, and ongoing wellness initiatives

Requirements

  • solid track record in a senior or standalone HR role within a hyper-growth environment
  • deep, practical understanding of Maltese employment law
  • initiative to manage HR processes end-to-end
  • commercially aware and incredibly organized
  • solutions-focused, detail-oriented
  • ability to build and lead a high-performing People team
  • Fluency in English; Maltese is a fantastic bonus.
