About the role

  • Assistente de Comunicação assisting in media relations and LinkedIn activities at Bernoulli Educação. Engaging in various projects and team collaborations for educational initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Media relations: monitoring earned media; reviewing press materials; supporting interviews; contacting and coordinating with press sources; participating in alignment meetings with partner vendors and internal teams; assisting in the preparation of reports; participating in projects (media training, press relations, etc.).
  • LinkedIn: monitoring the platform; proposing content topics; coordinating topics with external vendors; reviewing and producing content for the network; participating in specific projects (internal influencers, among others).
  • Projects: participating in initiatives within the area such as sponsorships and donations, branding, and product/ program launches.
  • Administrative support: creating purchase requests; submitting invoices for payment.
  • Alignment with internal teams: ongoing coordination with peer Marketing teams to identify publicity and communication opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Social Communication, or related fields.
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills.
  • Clear and assertive communication.
  • Experience with media relations routines (clipping, supporting press releases, building relationships with media outlets).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and platform best practices.
  • Knowledge of graphic creation tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
  • Systemic thinking to understand the impacts and interdependencies of communication activities and the business.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Willingness to learn, develop professionally, and take on new challenges.
  • Professional demeanor, with responsibility and ethics when handling information.
  • Proactivity and confidence to approach people, gather information, and establish contact with different audiences without hesitation.
  • Ease in initiating conversations and building connections.
  • Must reside in Belo Horizonte, MG or Nova Lima, MG.
