About the role

  • Leading Corporate Finance and Investor Relations for berlinovo, a leading real estate company in Berlin. Overseeing financial strategies and team development in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the Corporate Finance and Investor Relations department
  • Leadership, development and motivation of the Corporate Finance and Investor Relations team
  • Management and further development of financing and interest-rate risk management strategies at group and portfolio level (e.g., bank financing, capital market loans and equity instruments)
  • Responsibility for structured financing and refinancing measures for existing assets and project development portfolios
  • Ensuring liquidity, solvency and financial stability at group, portfolio and company level
  • Participation in the preparation and execution of transactions
  • Establishing, maintaining and further developing relationships with investors, banks, rating agencies and analysts
  • Responsibility for the investor relations strategy, including reporting, presentations and capital markets communication
  • Supporting the division head and executive management on strategic issues, investment decisions and special projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Real Estate Economics or a commercial qualification with relevant further training
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance or Banking, ideally in the real estate sector
  • Leadership experience and the ability to develop employees/teams both professionally and personally
  • Solid knowledge of financial risk management, treasury management, liquidity management, derivatives trading as well as experience structuring complex financings and working with capital market and financing partners
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation ability and confident presence with investors, banks and management
  • Structured, independent and results-oriented working style
  • Good SAP knowledge
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
