International Sales Manager leading B2B sales processes in polymer technology at Berghof Fluoroplastic Technology. Focus on customer acquisition and technical consulting in various industries.
Responsibilities
Independently manage the entire B2B sales process — from acquisition and technical consultation to contract conclusion (national & international)
Actively win new customers through technical consultation and support of our existing customers in machinery and plant engineering, semiconductor, laboratory technology & analytics, food & beverage, defence, and the chemical process industry
Pricing and preparation of quotations
Direct customer communication by phone, email, video conference or during on-site meetings
Independently maintain prospect and customer master data in the CRM (Salesforce) and support customer order management in the ERP (SAP)
Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns for selected target markets and buying personas in collaboration with the Marketing department
Manage projects independently and perform sales controlling; regular reporting to Sales Management
Participate in the organization and execution of trade shows, events & customer training domestically and abroad
Close cross-departmental collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Quality Management and Production
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration or alternatively an engineering degree with business training
Several years of experience in technical sales in polymer technology, ideally with high-performance polymers such as PTFE
Confident handling of technical drawings (2D/3D)
Understanding of subtractive machining (milling/turning) is a plus
Enjoys understanding technical customer needs and developing solutions
Responsible, independent and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills, ability to execute and confident appearance
Very good knowledge of Office programs and common applications such as SAP and Salesforce
Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken); additional languages advantageous
Willingness to travel
