Interior Design Manager at Belmond handling luxury hospitality design projects from concept to installation. Collaborating with teams to ensure brand guidelines and budgets are met.
Responsibilities
**Primary Responsibilities Include**
Collaborate with the management and operations team to understand the operational brief of the space.
Create a concept narrative and agree on the direction with the Interior Design Director.
Design a full concept and present selected projects to the design review committee for final sign-off.
Develop designs to adhere to Belmond brand guidelines and project budgets.
Create full project documentation and liaise with the operations team, Project Director, or property engineers to deliver the projects on time, on brand, and on budget.
Visit furniture manufacturers for prototype approvals.
Attend site meetings to ensure successful installation.
Accessorize and style spaces once installation is complete in preparation for photography and launch.
Work alongside the Procurement Director to identify potential suppliers to include in the Belmond Interior Design library.
Requirements
**What You Bring**
Significant track record in delivering luxury hospitality design projects from concept to installation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
Strong understanding of FF&E sourcing and procurement processes.
Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards and trends.
Familiarity with sustainability principles in design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and cultures.
Degree in Interior Design or related field, or equivalent.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
