About the role
- IT Analyst providing technical support to life sciences companies in India offices. Involves incident management, PC setup, and infrastructure maintenance responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees in the India Offices and in other locations.
- Track all incidents to completion.
- Build new PCs and train employees on connectivity software in a Windows environment.
- Assist with infrastructure maintenance and enhancements as skills permit with state-of-the-art technology.
- Support and maintain virtual environment, tiered storage, and backup infrastructure.
- Manage backup and replication maintenance, file recovery and enhancements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system health; adjust volumes and VMs as needed.
- Escalate unsolved issues to the appropriate internal team.
- Provide infrastructure enhancements such as software & hardware upgrades, performance tuning, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates/bachelor’s degree in technical related field or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows security/administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Candidate must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
