Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and research potential medical device supplier partners within the UK market.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to initiate contact with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored value propositions.
  • Negotiate and close new business agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and meticulously track all sales activities and progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent BD UK Limited at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B business development or sales, with a strong preference for experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully securing new business partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong understanding of the medical device supply chain and regulatory environment in the UK.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the UK as required to meet with potential clients.
