About the role
- Business Process Expert responsible for enhancing external purchasing processes at BD. Engaging in design, integration, and collaboration within global teams to optimize supply operations.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in external purchasing process design and improvement projects
- Support the External Purchasing BPO to deliver better orchestration of material and information flow
- Work cross-functionally and benchmark among industry peers
- Tailor the most appropriate supply process to achieve company objectives
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and standardize methodologies across regional and global teams
- Expose to regional and Global BD ISC as well as Business and Finance
- Help line managers focus on day-to-day operations by delivering buyer/planner efficiency and targeted service/profitability
Requirements
- Part of the E2E Planning excellence Team
- Active role in E2E planning transformation journey
- Engaged in external purchasing process design, integration, governance, and improvement projects
- Maximize System Usage, specifically Site MRP
- Improve material availability and purchasing order process monitoring
- Right-size Manufacturing site Raw Material inventory to achieve production needs and service levels
- Build strong partnerships with the ISC analytics teams and System architects
- Lead optimization initiatives in external purchasing processes of Finished Goods
