Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the BCD Travel team's effort to obtain profitable, new national corporate travel accounts using sales and marketing techniques
Engage with pre-qualified leads to convert business opportunities in the small to mid-market segment
Maintain and increase revenues through new client acquisition
Convert pre-qualified leads to contracted accounts
Ensure opportunity for client up-selling engagements
Use and adhere to the sales process outlined by sales management
Identify competitive threats and emerging problems and offers
Establish and maintain relationships with key prospects and existing client decision-makers at all levels
Coordinate all client pricing with pricing teams
Use company-provided CRM to document and support all sales activities
Maintain detailed records and document sales efforts and correspondence for review
Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German are required
Successful experience closing qualified leads
Motivated by a performance incentive plan
Ability and willingness to travel domestically
Experience in remote selling
Business travel industry experience is preferred
