About the role
- Genset Application Engineer providing technical support and training in genset engineering. Ensuring documentation validity and collaboration with HQ for system installation and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Provide genset application engineering technical support to clients and sales teams
- Ensure genset documentation is validated and available, in close collaboration with Headquarters (HQ)
- Support genset installation and commissioning activities
- Develop application engineering training modules to train sales teams, distributors and prospective customers
- Design and use engineering tools and calculators for sizing and selecting gensets to ensure compliance with project and customer requirements
- Support the sales team by ensuring price lists accurately reflect the current portfolio and by contributing to product code creation in internal tools (ERP, etc.)
Requirements
- Application engineer with experience in genset systems, preferably with a degree in electrical engineering
- Multilingual, fluent in English and French; knowledge of another European language is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, and highly motivated
