About the role

  • Developing full-stack applications at Baker Tilly using Python and Anvil. Collaborating on solutions for manufacturing and development clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack applications in just Python using Anvil.
  • Bring new solutions to the table, in particular leveraging the AWS ecosystem.
  • Identify and develop service opportunities to assist Baker Tilly’s manufacturing industry and development and community ad clients.

Requirements

  • You have a technical background and genuine interest in computer science and software development.
  • You have at least an intermediate knowledge of Python, or advanced understanding of another high-level language (e.g. Java, C#).
  • You have an eye for excellence.
  • You’re a problem solver, and love learning new things to solve new problems.
  • Bonus criteria: You’ve used the Anvil framework before.
  • You have 5 plus years building solutions in industry.
  • You have a background in traditional web development, such as back-end Python frameworks like Django or Flask, .NET, or Node.js.
  • You are comfortable with version control using Git, database administration, and DevOps.
  • You are familiar with (and maybe certified in) one of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
