About the role

  • Nursing professional caring for severely ill children and adolescents at a children's intensive care service. Responsibilities include treatment, documentation, and team collaboration in child care.

Responsibilities

  • Basic and treatment nursing (e.g., oxygen and medication administration, injections, suctioning, PEG care, inhalation and respiratory therapy, as well as patient monitor monitoring)
  • Nursing documentation
  • Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
  • Communication with family members
  • Emergency management

Requirements

  • Completed training as a nursing professional (e.g., registered nurse, pediatric nurse, health and nursing professional, pediatric nursing specialist, or geriatric nurse)
  • No prior experience in pediatrics or out-of-hospital intensive care required
