About the role

  • Integrated Product Support Engineer developing integrated product support strategies for defence and security projects at Babcock. Focused on documentation, analysis, and cross-collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated product support strategies.
  • Produce, develop, and support the creation of technical documents, manuals, guides, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
  • Conduct reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analyses to enhance product support.
  • Perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Author, preferably within the defence sector.
  • Strategic sparing studies and sparing analysis.
  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Defence contract experience.
  • Experience of military specification documents.
  • ARMS studies.
  • FMECA – quantitative failure analysis.
  • Security Clearance.
