About the role

  • Key Account Manager for MTDC end customers driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships across EMEA. Collaborate with a dynamic team, overseeing customer relationships and market expansion strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive revenue growth for assigned Global / EMEA MTDC end‑customer accounts
  • Act as the single point of accountability for the end‑customer relationship across EMEA
  • Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and forecast in Salesforce
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Axis’ long‑term priorities
  • Identify and prioritise key initiatives and multi‑year growth opportunities
  • Expand Axis’ addressable market and increase share of wallet within assigned accounts
  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at operational, decision‑making and executive level within MTDC organisations
  • Work closely with consultants (mainly A&E, i.e. Architecture and Engineering), system integrators, distributors and partners active in the data centre ecosystem
  • Position Axis as a trusted advisor to the customer, not just a supplier
  • Coordinate internal Axis resources across sales, technical, engineering, marketing and segment teams
  • Collaborate with regional EMEA sales organisations and with US/APAC counterparts on global accounts
  • Ensure structured, project‑oriented execution in a highly organised and demanding customer environment
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation, reporting and account planning in Salesforce
  • Provide regular status updates and strategic reviews to management and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in sales or sales coordination within large, international organisations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the MTDC / data centre industry
  • Strong background in strategic account management
  • Experience working with complex partner ecosystems (consultants, integrators, distributors)
  • International business exposure; comfortable operating across cultures and regions
  • IT / data centre / security market knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Exceptional commercial and business acumen
  • Strong project and stakeholder leadership skills – able to influence without authority
  • Structured, analytical and disciplined approach to planning and execution
  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex topics clearly and concisely
  • Confident engaging with senior decision‑makers and executives
  • Strong Salesforce experience
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages (e.g. French or German) are a plus
