About the role

  • Sales Representative promoting AvJet's aviation products and services. Responsible for maintaining client relationships and proactive prospecting in designated territories.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, high-quality customer service to existing clients
  • Travel within the company's service territory to provide on-site support to clients
  • Meet with prospective clients to promote the company's products and services
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive commercial customer relationships
  • Proactively prospect to develop new business
  • Perform cost–benefit analyses to meet customer expectations
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales representation
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Expertise in client development
  • Good computer skills (Excel and Office Suite)
  • Bilingual — French and English, spoken and written (functional English)
  • Hold a DEC (college diploma) in Sales, Business Management or another related program, or equivalent training combined with professional experience (an asset)
  • Solid knowledge of the aviation and fuels sector (an asset)
