About the role
- Consultant developing technical projects and solutions for Avantia's security systems. Collaborating with clients to establish project bases and enhancing cost-effectiveness in competitive proposals.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical projects, solution schematics and block diagrams to represent the solutions offered to clients and support the operations team in contracting services, using knowledge of technical drawing software (CAD, Visio and similar);
- Prepare the basis for technical and commercial proposals by conducting surveys, technical inspections, project studies, RFPs and descriptive reports, as well as preparing the generated budgets.
- Attend meetings with internal and external clients to establish project foundations and support responses to client questions through in-person or virtual participation.
- Analyze the technical feasibility of opportunities and competitive bidding processes brought by the commercial team, based on cost studies, verification of alignment with the company’s business models and the technical needs/capacities required, using Protheus for budgeting.
- Review product and service quotations through supplier relationships in order to achieve greater profitability and economic competitiveness in projects, leveraging results produced by Protheus.
- Ensure that specialized technical solutions for electronic security systems, data centers and industrial automation are optimized through technological improvement and updates via participation in events, certifications, courses and field practice, aiming to meet client needs with the highest added value and the lowest possible cost;
Requirements
- Technical training in Electrical or IT
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electronic or Electrical Engineering (complete or in progress) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the role
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Ability to read and manage projects
- Conversational and reading English
- Microsoft Office
- Specific knowledge: structured cabling, basic network/IT concepts, knowledge of CCTV, access control, automation and control, and infrastructure for medium/large-scale projects
- Certifications and qualifications: certifications from major technology manufacturers focused on electronic security; certifications in structured cabling.
