Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience through exposure to our key teams, such as Research, Advisory, Commercial, and Software Solutions, developing market expertise, sharpening analytical skills, and contributing to meaningful real-world impact in the global energy sector.
Advisory: Projects include valuations of energy assets, modelling bespoke scenarios and asset configurations, and conducting analysis to forecast asset economics for investors, banks, developers and utilities.
Research: The Research team is responsible for producing quarterly market forecast reports, which are widely read by subscribers within the industry, such as developers, utilities, investors, banks, and policymakers.
Collaborate within a team to deliver Aurora’s perspective on how the power system is expected to evolve through to 2060.
Participation in weekly client workshops, offers early exposure to clients and the opportunity to present your work directly to industry stakeholders.
Requirements
A university degree in either:
a quantitative subject, coupled with a keen interest in policy and economics
a social science, environmental studies or a related field, coupled with experience in quantitative analysis
You will need to be available to join in **September 2026**.

An ability to communicate and collaborate with a range of people
Demonstrated quantitative ability and problem-solving skills
Evidence of working effectively in teams
Passion for sustainable solutions, green energy transition, economics, data analytics, software, strategy, or consulting
Fluency in a Scandinavian, Baltic, or Finnic language is an advantage, but not a must. The business language is English.
