Responsibilities
- Prepare information bases for earnings releases and contribute to drafting the accounting sections of the Reference Form, working closely with areas such as Investor Relations;
- Act as the focal point in the Company's multidisciplinary projects related to M&A, commercial activities, restructurings, new accounting standards, and others;
- Provide technical accounting support to other business areas across various operations;
- Provide technical accounting support for the IFRS S1 and S2 implementation project;
- Prepare management analyses and consolidate information for corporate reporting;
- Responsible for responding to inquiries and organizing documentation requested by auditors;
- Prepare variance analyses of income and balance sheet, explaining significant movements and preparing supporting materials for management;
- Identify and enable actions for continuous improvement of the accounting area and its interface with other departments;
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and with CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) regulations as a publicly traded company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Advantage: Postgraduate/MBA in Controllership/Finance
- Solid and proven experience in Controllership/Accounting/Audit
- Advanced English
- Knowledge of the energy sector
