Responsibilities
Ensure Financial Planners are competent and compliant with regulatory requirements
Supervise, assess, and coach Financial Planners
Manage training records and support professional development through T&C Scheme
Conduct mandatory observations, including live and recorded meeting reviews
Complete periodic competency assessments and validate Financial Planner competency
Prepare, deliver, and review Personal Development Plans (PDPs)
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Review CPD records quarterly
Review and assess Fit & Proper declarations
Produce quarterly KPI dashboards for senior stakeholders
Support the delivery of knowledge, skills, and capability training sessions
Provide coaching to support skills development and regulatory compliance
Ensure timely completion of onboarding T&C activities for new Financial Planners
Requirements
Minimum Level 4 qualification in Regulated Financial Planning
Proven experience in financial services training, competence, or supervision roles
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to analyse information and make evidence-based decisions
Confident coaching and training skills, delivered one-to-one, in groups, and remotely
Skilled in building rapport and influencing a variety of stakeholders
Committed to high standards of conduct and achieving excellent customer outcomes
Desirable: Level 3 training and/or supervisory qualification (e.g., AF6, J07)
Desirable: Experience using Intelliflo or similar CRM systems
Desirable: Knowledge of retail mortgages
Desirable: Experience supervising pension transfer specialists
