Principal SAP Strategy Consultant managing project proposals in the healthcare sector at Atos. Responsible for leading innovative solutions in SAP for healthcare clients.
Responsibilities
Preparation of technical proposal content for national and international tenders in the role of the responsible SAP Lead for an end-to-end solution with a focus on the SAP healthcare market
Taking responsibility for the solution according to customer requirements as well as developing innovative roadmap scenarios: o Developing the bid strategy ("Win-Strategy" together with colleagues from the SAP Practice, Account and Sales) o Translating the bid strategy into a high-level solution design ("Solution Big Picture"): translating the analysis of customer-specific requirements into a solution design while considering industry-specific SAP components such as: SAP IS‑H (Industry Solution for Healthcare), migration into S/4HANA side-by-side architecture Patient management, case handling, clinical documentation Integration of hospital information systems (HIS) and other subsystems Interfaces to billing systems and medical documentation systems
Managing functional and technical SAP architects and experts during the preparation of proposals, presentations and workshops
Developing a customer-appropriate project plan, aligned to SAP Activate
Coordinating proposal costing and developing and/or validating effort estimates
Coaching and technical leadership of the Atos team in strategy and implementation projects for our healthcare clients and mentoring experts within the team using consulting methods. Building and further developing the Atos Eviden SAP consulting portfolio within your area of responsibility, and developing methods, tools and consulting models
Conducting presentations and workshops
Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues and partners from other units (e.g., SAP Cloud/Hosting, non‑SAP development and integration, Enterprise Architecture, Application Management and Operations, etc.)
Designing and elaborating healthcare-industry-specific digital business models for our clients, deriving value chains, processes and technology strategies and associated transformation approaches based on current SAP technologies
Capturing business-specific processes, identifying process optimization opportunities and advising on the redesign of process flows
Identifying business benefits and calculating business cases for transformation, as well as preparing decision documents and assessments for our clients' top-level management
Independently leading projects with interdisciplinary teams and coordinating relevant interfaces to the client and within Atos
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of the current SAP portfolio, S/4HANA implementation and rollout methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate), conversions, migrations and other SAP IT trends (e.g., cloudification), combined with industry knowledge in healthcare (e.g., health insurers, hospitals or medical care centers); knowledge of SAP IS‑H, including patient management, case handling and integration with clinical subsystems
Experienced in presenting proposals to decision-makers on the client side
Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
Experienced in international and/or distributed project work (e.g., working with near‑ and offshore delivery units)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with key roles in the proposal team and with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients and partners
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Informatics or Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience (min. 8 years) with proven success in SAP pre-sales and project work with clients, e.g., in roles such as SAP Senior or Principal Consultant, SAP Project Manager, SAP Pre‑Sales Consultant and/or SAP Bid Manager, preferably in a consulting firm or system integrator
