About the role
- Senior Construction Assurance Manager providing specialist constructability support and risk assurance on HS2 NEC3 Project. Collaborating closely with project managers and compliance teams on construction processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist constructability support and expertise at each stage of the construction process
- Undertake a risk-based approach to the assurance of the constructability of the Works
- Work closely with the HS2 NEC3 Supervisor and HS2 Compliance and Assurance Manager
- Accountable for Constructability Assurance by reviewing high risk processes and plans
- Facilitate safety tours and support site based HS2 safety practices
- Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and administering contracts, preferably NEC
- Proven construction experience across a range of large-scale projects
- Degree level qualification in civil engineering, construction or building science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of applicable UK construction regulations including Construction Design Management (CDM) and CSM requirements
- Knowledge and experience of site-based processes for health, safety, environmental and environmental management
- Demonstrable record evidencing knowledge of construction methodology
