About the role
- Aviation Project Manager providing expertise on airport engineering projects. Requires 8 years of civil engineering experience and P.E. license.
Responsibilities
- Provide the expertise of a seasoned Aviation Technical Expert to all conventional aspects of functional areas of airports
- Interface with clients and regulatory agencies with little to no oversight
- Assist the client in their development and execution of airport capital improvement program projects, from project conceptual planning to construction administration
- Review sketches and design concepts developed by engineers, subconsultants, CAD designers or technicians
- Analyze technical problems, assessing the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures, and devising new approaches and alternative solutions
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of cost and manpower estimates, schedules, and job budgets
- Coordinate work with lead technical engineers, guide and mentor junior professionals and technical personnel on design and drafting of preliminary and final plans
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
- Eight (8) years of relevant aviation related civil engineering or project management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
- A knowledge of or experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
- Proven technical writing and communication skills
- P.E. license required.
