Responsibilities
- Ensure the decisions we make with our pipeline assets best position us for return on investment and positive patient outcomes
- Shape strategy and influence investment decisions by delivering analysis and insights to Senior Leadership and other key partners
- Own the delivery of competitive analysis
- Drive in-depth analysis of clinical and commercial data
- Generate and communicate critical insights on key issues to provide transparency and respectful challenge to key decision makers
- Work with a range of partners to further influence strategy through intellectual agility and communication skills
- Shape strategic direction and drive portfolio decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience working in research and/or with data, analysis and fact-based decision-making
- Critical, innovative thinker with a background in oncology, clinical/research or investment analysis
- Ability to communicate complex issues simply and clearly
- Ability to think critically, creatively and to anticipate and solve problems
- Highly intellectually capable with agility and adaptability
- Experienced in leading cross-functional teams with ability to influence without authority
- Resourceful, motivated, decisive and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization
- PhD in Life Sciences, MD or MBA is preferred
- Background in management consulting, venture capital, private equity, or finance is preferred
