About the role

  • Senior Agile Coach guiding and mentoring teams in the adoption of Agile and Lean methodologies. Supporting multiple ventures aiming to create engaging experiences for app users worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Train and coach teams on agile principles and best practices, and work with them to translate these into practical ways of working.
  • Improve inter-team communication and collaboration, and strengthen leaders’ ability to mentor and motivate team members.
  • Support senior leadership in designing scalable, flexible, and outcome-focused organizational operating systems.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos when needed.
  • Help teams enhance project management by setting up processes, creating effective Kanban boards, and identifying and removing roadblocks.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage teams to experiment with new ways of working, including adopting new AI use cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to align team goals with organizational objectives.
  • Adapt and implement the most suitable solution for each challenge in a pragmatic, non-dogmatic way, without strict adherence to a single Agile or Lean paradigm.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach across multiple projects and companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies and frameworks, applied pragmatically to improve collaboration in large tech teams and deliver measurable impact.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring teams in Agile and Lean practices.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Scrum Master or related Agile certifications, and Lean certification, are a plus.
  • Experience working in an international, English-speaking tech environment, ideally during start-up or scale-up phases.

Benefits

  • Regular feedback and a development program to support your growth, helping you expand your skill set and achieve your career goals.
  • Comprehensive relocation support—from signing to settling in Hamburg. Visa assistance available. We support ambitions like learning German and offer a relocation bonus to help you feel at home in Hamburg.
  • Hybrid work model with three core office days and flexible working hours.
  • 30 vacation days, three weeks of remote work per year, free access to an in-house gym with varied fitness classes, and mental health support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Central office with views of the Alster Lake, high-quality equipment, open collaborative spaces, and a wide selection of snacks and drinks.
  • Regular team and company events, including hackathons and social gatherings — we work together and celebrate together.
