About the role
- Associate Director managing Local Markets FX capabilities for ANZ. Developing trading strategies while ensuring compliance and enhancing market share in currency trading.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in building ANZ Local Markets FX capabilities
- Focus on developing and maintaining Local Markets Currency trading capabilities
- Deliver incremental financial results while supporting all facets of Markets Trading and Sales business
- Expand and sustain ANZ’s market share in FX, through voice market-making and digital solutions
- Manage and monetize external eFX flows, and management of FX internalization
- Collaborate with Sales to grow FX franchise, primarily in deliverable FX
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify changing client trends
- Ensure consistent, competitive and timely pricing to internal and external customers
- Improve Risk Awareness & Risk Culture
Requirements
- Proven currency trading experience with strong background in deliverable currencies across a range of FX products.
- Good risk management skill set and willing to work in high pressure environment.
- Extensive knowledge of FX regulatory framework requirements and Global FX Code of Conduct.
- Good understanding of the front to back operations of the trading businesses.
- Strong client services ethic, subject to compliance and regulatory controls.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external clients, with strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
- Knowledge or experience of AI or computer programming will be a strong advantage.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively with diverse stakeholders.
