About the role
- Framework Manager overseeing key framework contracts for Anglian Water's Capital Maintenance Programme. Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction, development and continuous improvement of framework contracts delivering the Capital Maintenance Programme
- Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they are properly authorised and aligned with the framework
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align framework strategies with delivery needs
- Ensure effective supplier performance reporting from front line teams
- Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and contract compliance
- Drive efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement across the framework
- Resolve issues and disputes promptly to protect programme delivery
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are upheld at all times
- Act as a key member of the SMD leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and delivery
- Champion innovation, collaboration, and best practice in framework management
Requirements
- Experience managing supplier frameworks in capital projects or similar environments
- Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to manage performance, risk, and compliance across complex contracts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of project lifecycle, cost management, and procurement processes
