Responsibilities
Serve as the customer quality point of contact; ensure audit readiness and compliance to customer-specific and internal requirements across supported facilities.
Monitor customer scorecards/KPIs and lead corrective and preventive actions with plants and programs.
Lead pre‑production and launch quality activities, ensuring APQP/LPMP deliverables are met on time and to standard.
Conduct post‑launch lessons learned; verify effective read‑across of launch, warranty, and customer lessons to future programs.
Coach and develop plant Quality/APQP engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field.
7+ years in manufacturing Quality and/or launch environments, including customer-facing experience.
Proficiency with quality systems and tools: APQP, LPMP/Profile, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, 8D.
Proven ability to manage multiple programs/plants with disciplined follow‑through and time management.
Ability to travel up to 20%, based on plant/customer/launch needs.
