About the role

  • Senior Manager implementing learning solutions and programs that facilitate agent engagement and production. Leading strategy and team efforts within American Family Insurance's agency business.

Responsibilities

  • establish, communicate, and implement departmental plans and objectives that facilitate agent engagement, production and efficiency, driving product sales with profit and growth plans
  • work cross-divisionally and with the field to develop partner relationships to support agent implementation through learning solutions and programs
  • report to the Director of Agency Business Development
  • manage the design, development and implementation of learning solutions and programs that support the development needs of agency business owners based on strategic programs, projects and changing business strategies
  • establish and implement departmental plans and strategies
  • lead a team that works with field leadership to develop cohort-based training and facilitation solutions to meet our needs
  • oversee the review and enhancement of training opportunities for agents
  • create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion
  • contribute to division or department leadership team
  • communicate and support organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices

Requirements

  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of agents business environment
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, delivering & facilitating training and learning programs
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of state licensing and continuing education requirements for producers of property and casualty insurance products
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional models and experience developing online, digital content
  • Property and casualty producer license for all operating and/or service states must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • Life insurance producer licenses for all operation and/or service states must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • Required to maintain current, active license(s) status by continuing education and meeting all state, operating and regulatory requirements
  • Travel Requirements Up to 10%
