About the role

  • Assistant Branch Manager at Municipal Credit Union supporting team development and sales goals. Ensuring compliance and exceptional member service in a branch setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Branch Manager in hiring, assessing, coaching and developing high performing branch teams
  • Create and ensure an ongoing sales through service culture
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and achievement of the branch business plans
  • Implement and monitor sales and cross-selling programs
  • Ensure premier member service standards are being met
  • Responsible for branch scheduling
  • Conduct required in-branch audits weekly and monthly
  • Ensure dual control is implemented and followed at all times
  • Comply with BSA and SAR requirements
  • Review and analyze branch reports and activities
  • Actively spend quality time within your staff for ongoing coaching and development
  • Assist in the management and oversight of staffing and administrative functions of your branch

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a retail leadership role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience branch banking required
  • Proven results in sales, service and operations including meeting or exceeding set objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and be available to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Highly ethical.
