About the role

  • Data Analyst supporting data science initiatives with a focus on machine learning and dashboard development. Collaborating with teams to derive insights from complex datasets in a dynamic financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and processing large datasets using SQL and Python.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate key metrics.
  • Support the development and implementation of basic machine learning models.
  • Help in evaluating and experimenting with Large Language Models (LLMs) for data-related tasks, support key GenAI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 year of experience in data analysis through internships, academic projects, or coursework.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Solid programming skills in Python, including experience with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Hands-on experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
  • A foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their potential applications.
