- Data Analyst responsible for creating reports and automating data analysis processes at Evertec. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Create on-demand reports and analyses from databases and datasets.
- Support and enhance the automation of management, tactical and operational reporting processes.
- Gather and understand business processes and rules to enable automations and the generation/delivery of reports.
- Perform data validation and ensure the consistency of metrics (quality, traceability, reconciliations).
- Act as a liaison with the development team and partner areas to align requirements, sources, rules and deliverables.
- Propose improvements and new tools/approaches to increase process efficiency and quality.
- Prioritize deliverables with an 80/20 mindset, focusing on what generates the greatest impact the fastest.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in SQL and knowledge of relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
- Experience with analytics and visualization tools: BI, dashboards and reporting.
- Python (highly desirable) for analysis, data manipulation and automation.
- AWS (preferred): familiarity with cloud data services (storage, processing, querying, pipelines).
- Strong logical reasoning and the ability to interpret complex data and scenarios.
- Analytical capability to propose analyses and hypotheses beyond assigned requests.
- Organized, with a sense of priority and discipline to maintain consistent, timely deliveries.
- Team player with clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, curious and focused on continuous improvement.
