About the role
- Senior Data Analyst in insurance analytics supporting multi-market programs. Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze data trends and build analytical tools.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders and clients to understand data requirements
- Analyse trends across claims, loss ratios, market performance, and other key insurance metrics
- Build and improve data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools
- Create dashboards and analytical tools to support business decisions
- Strengthen data quality checks to improve accuracy and completeness
- Support and enhance data models for reporting and analytics
- Contribute to scalable data architecture aligned with business and client needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Around 5+ years of experience in data analytics & stakeholder/client management
- Prior experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel
- Experience with data modelling and data warehouse environments
- Exposure to Azure tools is preferred
- Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
