About the role

  • Data Analyst supporting the operation of virtual power plants at DieEnergiekoppler GmbH. Analyze data, improve marketing potential, and support client operations in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Data analysis to improve marketing potential and results
  • Identification of improvement opportunities in the processes of the flexibility plant
  • Integration and enhancement of fully automated analysis functionalities for condition assessment of the operation of virtual power plants
  • Data analysis in the event of technical malfunctions of assets to identify vulnerabilities
  • Clarification of boundary conditions for integrating PV systems, wind turbines, battery storage and other controllable systems
  • Integration of new assets into our customers' processes
  • Supporting our customers to achieve optimal market results
  • Support in preparing control hardware for integration, in particular for wind turbines and battery storage

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn — we support acquiring any additional necessary skills
  • Experience with Python and having implemented initial projects is a plus; a strong affinity for programming is important
  • You enjoy working with data and interpreting it; you analyze data in a structured and analytical way
  • You enjoy taking on responsible tasks and are recognized for your work
  • You are motivated by responsible tasks, work cooperatively within a team and also take initiative
  • You use the freedom to shape your role responsibly and reliably
  • Affinity for working with IT tools (e.g., Git, Microsoft Office, GitLab, ticket systems such as ZOHO Desk, Markdown)
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Energy sector knowledge is a plus (optional)
