About the role

  • coordinate and implement the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization
  • identify and integrate alteration work packages and repair work specifications
  • collaborate closely with Regional Maintenance Centers, government installation team sponsors, and shipyard contractors
  • conduct data analysis for CNO availabilities
  • develop and maintain metrics assessing planning progress and readiness for execution
  • maintain clear and effective communication channels among stakeholders
  • assist NSA RMCs and Planning Yards by mitigating challenges impacting work specification development
  • ensure all work packaging and publishing processes meet program standards and timelines

Requirements

  • Active DoD Govt Issued Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 6 years directly relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills, including process mapping, risk analysis, and quality assurance tools
  • Strong understanding of the Navy’s Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) program and its maintenance tracking and reporting capabilities
  • Proficiency in the use of DoN databases, including NDE, NMD-R and SMDII
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft applications including MS SharePoint and MS Planner
