About the role
- Manage Civils scope within the Nuclear Services Agreement for Sizewell C project, ensuring delivery and oversight of engineering and design services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee execution of NSA services for Civils scope
- Manage Early Warnings, risks, Compensation Events, and Variations
- Provide challenge, cost insight, and approval for additional scope or Task Orders
- Escalate issues when required
- Own end‑to‑end Civils contract scope
- Ensure deliverables meet replication/configuration rules
- Secure input and oversight from SZC teams (e.g., Review & Acceptance)
- Maintain consistency across engineering and programme packages
- Build strong relationships with SZC Engineering Integration, Contractor discipline leads, and internal NSA teams
- Represent NSA in meetings and reporting forums
- Work closely with Programme Engineering Managers and Nuclear Services teams
- Track and report financial, technical, and schedule metrics
- Capture impacts to budget and delivery baseline
- Contribute to monthly reporting on PI scope
Requirements
- Experience on major infrastructure projects (nuclear preferred)
- Strong contract management and technical governance experience
- Ability to resolve complex issues and manage ambiguity
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills
- Able to manage multiple workstreams and work independently
- Strong MS Office skills; proactive attitude
- Desirable PMI or similar project management qualification
- Knowledge of nuclear standards, EPR design, and civil engineering
- Understanding of commercial aspects of major projects
- French language or HPC project experience
- Experience in tendering for design/manufacturing/installation contracts
- Chartered or working towards chartership
