About the role
- Cloud Engineer responsible for Azure and M365 environments at a dynamic company. Involved in cloud security and operational management in a green technology sector.
Responsibilities
- Operational management and further development of our Azure landing zone and core infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, security), including interfaces
- Administration of identities and access rights (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM)
- Operation of containers (AKS, Docker) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps)
- Implementation of cloud security and governance standards in close collaboration with our external security partner
- Automation with Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and cost optimization using Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
- Support in the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune
- Support for compliance requirements (ISO 27001, KRITIS, NIS2) together with external specialists
- Coordination with external service providers: ensuring quality, response times and expertise
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Experience in Azure cloud engineering and/or with M365 services
- Knowledge in some of the following areas: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams
- Willingness to learn new topics independently and continuously expand your knowledge
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners
- Excellent German and good English skills
