About the role

  • Account Manager at Alpega Group responsible for account management in Spain and Italy. Driving growth and retention through strategic relationship management in logistics sector.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of regional customers across one or more European markets.
  • Develop a solid understanding of each customer’s business, logistics setup, and growth objectives.
  • Drive account growth through proactive upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing customers by aligning Alpega solutions to evolving needs.
  • Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention through consistent engagement and follow-up.
  • Act as the primary trusted advisor for senior and C-level stakeholders within each account.
  • Lead the full commercial cycle—from opportunity identification to value articulation, proposal development, negotiations, and Closed won.
  • Conduct ROI and value discussions to demonstrate the value of Alpega’s SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Customer Success to deliver impactful product demonstrations and solution positioning.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management for your account portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Product and Pre-Sales to shape solution fit.
  • Work with Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless onboarding, adoption, and long-term retention of solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to internal teams—informing product improvements, service enhancements, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Manage a performance-driven mindset by building pipeline, forecasting, prioritizing, and actively driving all open opportunities towards committed success.
  • Navigate complex enterprise setups where data or stakeholder engagement may be fragmented, making pragmatic decisions to move opportunities forward.
  • Evaluate account performance on a recurring basis and define actions that drive continuous improvement and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Local language skills of assigned region (e.g Spanish & Italian, English is our internal business language)
  • Additional EU languages are an advantage.
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS enterprise sales or account management.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture long-lasting relationships.
  • Confident operating in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
