Responsibilities
The Service Manager is responsible for leading a risk focused reporting and analytics service within the TORC organisation.
The role owns the delivery of trusted dashboards and insight products that support first line risk oversight.
This includes leading frontend dashboard creation, shaping analytical approaches, and ensuring strong data quality, governance, and control.
The Service Manager leads the team’s evolution from traditional reporting into analytics, building capability in insight generation, trend analysis, and data storytelling to better identify risk themes, emerging issues, and control effectiveness.
The role acts as a key interface between TORC, first line risk stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring reporting, analytics, and data automation solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to TORC’s risk management objectives.
Requirements
A minimum of 4 year's experience in data and visualisation using modern BI tools, regularly reviewing and improving dashboards and insight products to increase interpretability and reduce reporting ambiguity; able to challenge design decisions and guide teams to deliver outputs that meet defined business requirements.
Experience transforming complex data into actionable insights, producing reports and narratives that clearly link findings to business outcomes, resulting in improved decision‑making and increased stakeholder confidence in reporting accuracy.
A minimum of 2 year's experience in leading and developing high‑performing analytics teams, setting measurable objectives, coaching analysts/engineers, conducting performance reviews, and building a culture focused on learning, quality, and continuous improvement.
