About the role

  • Oracle ERP & HCM Functional Analyst supporting project portfolio management solutions for financial efficiency and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather, analyze, and refine functional requirements;
  • Translate business needs into functional designs, configurations, and solution options aligned to Oracle best practices;
  • Configure and optimize Oracle Fusion PPM modules, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, revenue recognition, and capitalization;
  • Ensure strong functional integration between PPM and Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR);
  • Develop and execute functional, integration, and system testing scenarios;
  • Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing, including defect triage and resolution;
  • Produce high quality functional documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational readiness at go-live;
  • Provide functional guidance and mentoring to junior analysts and project team members;
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Project stakeholders, CoE Technical teams (integrations, reports, conversions), and CoE Support teams to enable smooth transition into run operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent professional experience;
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Functional Analyst working with Oracle packaged solutions;
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM;
  • Experience working within an internal Center of Excellence (CoE) delivery model and with global project accounting models;
  • Strong functional expertise in Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Financial Management, Capital and Expense projects;
  • Solid understanding of PPM to Financials integrations, including reconciliation to General Ledger;
  • Proven track record delivering solutions in a project / implementation / delivery role;
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a delivery focused environment.
  • Extra edge
  • Oracle ERP PPM certification;
  • Exposure to OTBI and/or BI Publisher for PPM reporting;
  • Experience supporting Oracle quarterly updates and regression testing.
