About the role

  • Public Sector Account Executive responsible for growing Alan's Public Sector portfolio. Develop strategic relationships with ministries and public institutions in France.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic targets within the public sector
  • Prepare for and meet with prospects ahead of RfPs (calls for tenders)
  • Respond to relevant RfPs — significant written work and project management required
  • Prepare for and participate in oral presentations
  • After a win, oversee Alan's deployment in collaboration with the Key Account Manager and ensure high satisfaction for administrators and members
  • Help build the appropriate Salesforce setup to track public-segment sales activity and ensure data hygiene for the whole team
  • Support the team in standardizing and industrializing our RfP response process to increase efficiency and win rates
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform Alan's public sector strategy by consolidating RfP debriefs, client expectations, and competitive differentiators
  • Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to ensure Alan's offerings remain competitive and tailored to FPT and FPH needs
  • Share information, debriefs, and lessons learned with the Public Sector team to drive collective improvement

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead C-level discussions and influence key decision-makers, with a high level of formality
  • Full professional proficiency in French (C2 or equivalent), including in formal contexts, and advanced English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, intense environment
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across multiple teams and communities
  • Strong interest in and desire to understand the French public sector structure, procurement processes, and key stakeholders
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail (nice-to-have)
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing the complexities of public sector sales cycles (nice-to-have)
  • Prior experience and a demonstrated track record of closing large, complex deals with long sales cycles is a strong plus. Experience responding to RfPs is also a clear plus (nice-to-have).
