Sales Account Manager responsible for AIXTRON products in the European market. Engaging diverse clients and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving sales strategies.
Responsibilities
As a Sales Account Manager (all genders), you are the central point of contact in the sales process and customer support for all AIXTRON products across the extended European region.
You manage a broad customer base — from public research institutes through highly innovative newcomers and specialized users to major key accounts.
Maintaining and expanding the existing customer base is part of your responsibilities, as is ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process.
You analyze market and competitor activities and contribute to securing and expanding AIXTRON SE’s market share.
Through regular travel within your sales territories — for customer visits, trade shows, or conferences — you build relationships with key decision-makers.
You also represent the company at trade shows and in relevant committees.
You contribute to the development of sales strategies and concepts.
You identify customers’ current and future needs with regard to roadmap-related questions.
Negotiating prices, payment terms, and contractual conditions falls within your area of responsibility.
You coordinate and develop the sales representatives in your region.
In addition, you work closely with internal departments, both sales-support functions and service teams such as technical and administrative groups.
Requirements
You have a completed university degree in the natural sciences or engineering, preferably in semiconductor technology.
You bring at least five years of experience in sales activities — ideally in the field of semiconductor technology; experience in selling capital goods (investment goods) is essential.
You have excellent knowledge of the European market and its cultures.
You are fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional European languages is desirable.
A high willingness to travel is a matter of course for you.
Team and customer orientation as well as excellent communication skills are among your strengths.
You work independently and take responsibility.
Friendliness, persuasiveness, and assertiveness complete your profile.
